Fin whales after all that rain

Hello everyone, it felt great to get back on the water this morning after a day off due to weather yesterday.  We made our way right off Bliss where we spent time with 2 fin whales (one was a new individual to the area for the season, obvious because of the large notch out of the back of the dorsal fin. 

We also saw a large number of shearwaters, mostly great and sooty but there were even a few manx mixed in.  We also had a large number of northern gannets feeding in the area

I am off this afternoon and evening but I got word and they are watching fin whales this afternoon, I will let you know about the evening,
