Great whale watch this afternoon

Hello everyone, well our 2012 season is officially in full swing and we had a great whale watch this afternoon with a young minke whale off Campobello Island.

We have also been seeing quite a few birds lately including puffins, shearwaters (greater and sooty), guillemots, murres, razorbills, Bonaparte's gulls and storm petrels.

There are LOTS of seals around too, here are some harbour seals we saw on Splitting Knife today.

Thanks for checking in today and don't forget to check back often for more sightings

Cheers,
Danielle
